2022 Event

ICT ShowRoom is an exhibition and a competition, in which students present their project work done during the past year.

The ICT ShowRoom is organized jointly by Turku University of Applied Sciences, University of Turku, and Åbo Akademi University. The participation is open for all students of the organizing higher education institutes who have worked with projects connected to ICT-connected topics. The event itself is open for the public and there are hundreds of visitors every year. If you have questions regarding the event, you can find the contact details below.

ICT SHOWROOM 2022 WAS ON 10.3.2022!

The winner of ICT ShowRoom 2022 is Ice Riderzzz! Team had real time detection of road surfaces using audio data and ML. Team had done fine work with the setup, with video and with pitching as well. Team concisted of UTU students Atte Rehnbäck, Jan Böhmeke, Jonas Sandelin, Marius Gurgu, Pietari Pelto-Piri, Niina Alén and Debom Ghosh. Warm congratulations!
The other special nominations were:

Widest social impact, team KPG (ÅA)

Most mature business potential, team Storedash (ÅA)

Best global potential and winner of public voting, team VRGP (ÅA)

We had 30 teams ready to show their talent. The event was hybrid: students participating in pitching competition and ICT companies were on-site in Educity. Audience was welcome to follow the event in Youtube stream.
